The wedding of the century may soon lead to the divorce of the decade, with Aysha and Salim Mehajer having allegedly become estranged and now living apart.A Current Affair understands that Mrs Mehajer has packed her bags and is living with family in the Illawarra region of NSW.
Close friends have said that Mr Mehajer has been constantly text messaging and calling his wife, with his social media accounts also being flooded over the past week with nostalgic posts relating to the couple's August nuptials.For the past few days, the only person seen coming in or out of the couple's Lidcombe mansion is Mr Mehajer's sister.

Along with notoriety, Mr Mehajer's actions as a developer and deputy mayor, in addition to court proceedings launched against him, have been widely covered by the Australian media.Social commentator Prue MacSween says that all along, it has been a relationship based on Salim's hunger for fame."Maybe they were fighting each other for the mirror in the morning, maybe she was showing more style than him - because she certainly had more class than he did," MacSween said.A Current Affair attempted to contact Salim Mehajer, but have not received a response at the time of publication.
